TPE

Hello my dearest Reader,

Perhaps you'll think this website is strange but I admit I have to give you some clou.

I created this for my TPE (Travaux Pratique Encadré). And it is part of an exam called "Bac", in France. We have to choose a subjet, find a question and try to resolve it.

I chose: "What was Shakespeare's influence with his playwright "The Tragedy of King Richard the Third" over the collective imaginary and our contemporary authors?"

I discovered King Richard III and his story with the series The White Queen and I acknowledge I've always thought Middle-Age was borring, annoying but absolutely not !

I am French and I am not the best in english even if I do my best. I know there's several mistakes and I am sorry for that.

Moreover, you have to know this website isn't real. I mean, I created it for an exam, for fun but the informations are true, I hope. I just let my imagination wrote what people as Queen Elizabeth Wydville (Woodville for us) could say, thought, as this time.

You just have to appreciate and enjoy the moment.

Best regards,
Anaëlle.

Richard of Gloucester married in secret ?

12th Octobre 1472

If women wanted to marry Richard, Duke of Gloucester, you're late! Indeed, the Duke has been saw at court with an alliance and everyone asked who could be this lucky girl. Sit up straight my Dearest Reader. His beloved wife is Lady Anne Neville, The Kingmaker's daughter! Rumours say he had sought her hand nine months ago!

Even if no one helped her during her captivity, even if he was ignored by the royal couple, there was only person who cared about her. Indeed, Richard, Duke of Gloucester escorted her at Church of St Martin le Grand, Clarence made her a kitchen maid, but Richard found her. Richard of Gloucester's devotion for his cousin increased Clarence's refusal of sharing Warwick's lands and fortune with his wife' sister if she marry his brother.

But Lady Anne needed to be protected and she consented to marry her cousin and they sent a papal dispention but it is possible they're in love too.

They married at Westminster Abbey without at this time the dispensation, an if the Church declare their marriage illagal, a clause protecting their rights in the event of their being divorced is made. They could leggally remarried. Richard's got Middleham Castle and the couple will probably send their time there, we remind you this their childhood home, where they met each other.

Lady Agnes Pem Haver; 20 ; Countess of Wyder

I heard His Majesty Richard, Duke of Gloucester is married to Traitor's daughter, Anne Neville. I guess she would be a good wife for George, Duke of Clarence, as avid of power as him. She wants power and renown. How dares she? When she was in Clarence's keeping, she did what she has to. She stole the husband I expected.

I remind you, Countess of Wyder that you speak of Duchess Anne of Gloucester. Moreover this isn't impossible this marriage is a love wedding. Let me add by this contract, Warwick's lands stay near the crown.
